The app does not require an account. We never ask you to register, and we do not collect your name, email address or password unless you choose to write to us for support.

Stored Only on Your Device

The following stays on your phone, is never sent to our servers, and is deleted when you uninstall the app:

• Bookmarks, notes and highlights
• Reading history and reading plan progress
• Search history and verse preferences
• Display settings (font, theme, language)

Collected Automatically by Third Parties

Advertising and analytics providers integrated into the app collect the following. See sections 4 and 5 for who they are:

• Your device's advertising identifier
• IP address and approximate country
• Device model and operating system version
• In-app events, session frequency and duration
• Crash reports and performance metrics

Notifications

• A device notification token, if you allow notifications, used only to send you reminders and devotional content

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your information for the following purposes:

Service Providers

The app integrates the following third-party services. Each acts as an independent data controller under its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — serves the ads shown in the app
• Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network — additional ad networks mediated through AdMob
• Google Firebase Analytics — in-app usage statistics
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of notifications

Our Own Server

The app requests the verse of the day from a server we operate. That request carries no personal data: your notes, bookmarks and highlights are never sent to it.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law or to:

• Comply with legal processes or government requests
• Protect the rights, property, or safety of NIV Bible app, our users, or the public
• Enforce our Terms of Service or investigate violations
• Detect, prevent, or address fraud or security issues

Business Transfers

5. Advertising

The app is free and supported by advertising. Ads are served by Google AdMob, with additional inventory mediated from Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network.

These networks may use your device's advertising identifier to show ads relevant to your interests, and they record which ads you were shown and whether you interacted with them.

How to Opt Out of Personalized Ads

You can turn off ad personalization at any time from your device, without uninstalling the app:

• Android Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID
• Or choose Opt out of Ads Personalization

You will still see ads, but they will no longer be based on your advertising identifier.

6. Your Privacy Rights

You have control over your personal information. Your rights include:

• Deletion: Remove all local data by uninstalling the app, or by clearing its data in Android Settings
• Notifications: Turn notifications off at any time from your device settings
• Advertising: Reset or delete your advertising identifier, as described in section 5
• Access: Ask us what information, if any, we hold about you
• Objection: Object to certain data processing activities

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The app itself does not use browser cookies. It relies on local device storage to remember your settings, notes and reading progress.

The advertising and analytics providers described in sections 4 and 5 use their own identifiers and similar technologies. You can limit those as explained in section 5.

8. Children's Privacy

The NIV Bible app is designed for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without parental consent.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately at josemiguelcayetano001@hotmail.com, and we will promptly delete such information.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements.
